Grow Aloha Guided Painting Workshop
Join us for an afternoon of art, education, and conservation on Saturday, Feburary 8th! The NTBG Grow Aloha plant adoption allows Hawai'i residents to take home a different native plant each month. During the month of Feburary they are focusing on native hibiscus. In addition to going home with a new painting, each participant will get to choose from a variety of native hibiscus' to bring home to grow! When we grow Hawaiian native plants and heritage crops, we grow aloha for ʻāina.
During the workshop I will guide you through the painting process, as well as encourage creativity so each participant leaves with a piece of art that is uniquely theirs. This is a wonderful opportunity to create new art for your hale or make a special makana for someone else.
